my not-so-interesting life + WIP dress!
It’s been a while since I did a personal post. To be honest, a personal post on tumblr has always felt weird to me because I see it more as e-scrapbooking than an actual blog. But whatever.
I got myself an iPad. WiFi only, but that’s good enough. I don’t take public transportation much. Only on weekends. But that my time to be tourist-y with the boyfriend in the city.
We celebrated our one year of tolerating each other being in love a few weeks back.
I’m busy at work as usual.
I watch too many tv series per week.
My social life is almost non-existent.
And to make my social life more non-existent, I have started sewing.
Boyfriend got me this book as an anniversary present.
so I’ve started sewing this dress.
cloths of choice. from Kamdar. 4 meters for less than RM50.
and of course, tracing the pattern. Good thing it’s not as complicated as a lot of the pattern sets out there.
so I begin to snip it up.
at this point I was too excited to make my dress that I may have messed up.
The front of the dress before I attached the back part.
75% done. Need to fix the collar and attach the sleeves and sew the sides close.
At this point, I’ve attached the left sleeve and further messed up the collar. Which of course will soon be covered up. I knew I bought extra fabric for something :p
So yes. That’s life.
